Updates…

Hi everyone! I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted on the blog, but I would like to take a moment to explain what’s been happening for the past few months.
The article “ECOTOURISM: What could Cuba mean for you?“, published almost a year ago, was re-tweeted by the 10YFP Sustainable Tourism Programme, part of the  UN World Tourism Organization.  It was then found by Professor Megan Epler Wood, who is a trailblazer in the field of sustainable tourism and ecotourism.  She offered me a teaching assistant position in her Fall semester class “Environmental Management of International Tourism Development” at the Harvard Extension School, and of course I accepted.  So, this past summer, besides getting married, was filled with reading and researching topics for the class this past Fall.
Now that the semester is over, I am continuing on with her as an assistant to her social media presence for EplerWood International and communications revolving around her book release “Sustainable Tourism on a Finite Planet“.
I will be completing the interviews and conducting more, but I wanted to share with you all why there has been such a delay.  There are several other things in the works, so stay tuned!
